14 animals rescued in Nowshera | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Dec 7: Rajouri Police have rescued fourteen bovines from the clutches of smugglers in Nowshera area and registered three cases against the accused. Team of police from Nowshera police station headed by Station House Officer Nowshera Fareed Ahmed was on routine patrolling when some Tata mobile vehicles being used in bovine snuggling were found moving from the opposite direction. Team of police chased these vehicles which were later found parked alongside road on Nowshera highway and smugglers had run into the nearby forest to evade their arrests. However, cops managed to nab two persons from who include Mushtaq Ahmed son of Abdul Rehman and Rahat Iqbal son of Abdul Majid residents of Khablan Thanamandi. Three Tata mobile vehicles bearing registration numbers JK02AL 1449, JK11 3202 and JK11B 4694 have been seized and cases under relevant sections of the law have been registered in police station Nowshera. |
