| Army organizes cross country league | | |  Early Times Report
Rajouri, Dec 8: To bring in harmony and inculcate sportsman ship amongst the youth the India Army organised Shaheed Subash Thapa Pir Panjal Cross Country league at Kalal Nowshera.
A total of six events in various categories were organised the first being 12 Km cross Country run in which teams of six Districts an one sub Division Namely Doda poonch kishtwar Ramban Rajouri Reasi and Nowshera participated Nowshera sub Division team stood First in 12 Km Run Category while Rajouri District team was Runners up A Run for fun event of 3 km an 5 km was organised for children (both Boys and Girls ) in to Categories off 11 -14 years and 15_18 yeras Apart from these Run for unity was also organised for the Army veterans more than 800 Youth children an veterans participated in these events brigadier Udai jawa Deputy General officer commanding was the chief Guest for the event. |
