AAP appeals LG to restructure JKBOSE | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 17: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jammu and Kashmir has appealed Lieutenant Governor to restructure the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education. "J&K Board of School Education (BOSE) is an only state (now UT) institution that has responsibility to cater the academic needs of over 10 lakh school going students of erstwhile three regions but was always treated as a milky cow by the former state rulers & bureaucrats to fetch their vested interests despite its defined autonomous status", alleged Seep Singh. The loud claimer 'LG' administration also seems unwilling to work on its much needed restructuring to uplift its face, it further alleged. To us, so-called priority sectors like health & education should be the top agenda of any credible government but nothing such seems on ground as on date, said Deep Singh. Similarly, much needs to be done in education sector of Jammu-Kashmir including provision of free & quality education at all levels by scrapping of ongoing cluster University culture, release added. Besides other administrative reforms in the field of school education, restructuring of JK-BOSE needs to be considered immediately on the following pattern, it further added. |
