| PMUY gas connections distributed in LoC area | | |  Early Times Reporter
Noshwera, Jan 17: In order to aid poor village women in their daily cooking work that too without health hazards, Liquified Petroleum Gas cylinders under Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojna were distributed in Deeing-kalal panchayat area of Nowshera.
The said area is located near Line of Control in Kalal of Nowshera sector.
An event was organised under the supervision of Sarpanch Deeing, Ramesh Choudary wherein several civil society members and prominent citizens were present.
LPG cylinders were distributed among locals.
Village women hailed the efforts of Government of India by starting Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojna and said that cooking of food with firewood was a major cause of illness among women.
Sarpanch Deeing-kalal, Ramesh Chowdhary said that PMUY is a major initiative of Government of India aimed to provide helping hand to the village women. |
