Early Times Report Ramnagar, Jan 23: A delegation of JKNPP comprising Shiv Dev Singh, Pawan Dev Singh, Des Raj (BDC Chairman), Vinoo Jamwal, Pushpinder Singh, Darshan Kumar (Councilor) and Mohit Mankotia met Parhlad Singh Patel MOS Tourism and Culture and submitted a memorandum highlighting exigent demands of Tehsil Ramnagar. While interacting with him they emphasized widening and black-topping of main roads from Ramnagar to Udhampur, Dudu-Basantgarh and Chountra Mata, releasing of pending liabilities under MG-NREGA, for control of peculiar virus and other requirements, fulfill vacant post of doctors, child specialist, gynecologist and other facilities like Digital X-ray, CT-scan, MRI facility, Ultra-sound etc in Sub District Hospital Ramnagar. In order to boost tourism sector Dalsar Lake, Gandhtop, Shivgali, Dudu-Basantgarh, Samna-Banj, Seoj-Dhar, Tarmain, Kulwanta, Chountra Mata, Pingla Mata etc be included in tourism map, pending work of University campus be completed shortly so that classes can be started from new session, construction of office for BDC Chairpersons at each block and provision of special grant (PDF) amounting to Rs. 20 lacs approx. be made for chairpersons which he/she can use in extreme situation in the block moreover vehicle facility may also be provided to chairpersons in far flung areas. Roads under PMGSY which stands closed for want of forest clearance be given immediate clearance for further construction, fill up vacant posts of teacher/masters/lecturers in under staff institutions. A sports stadium under Khelo India scheme be given in Chanunta block for which local residents are ready to donate land, immediate repair of roads in far flung areas, regularization of SPO's working for the last 15-20 years in the department.
