JAMMU, Jan 23: Deputy Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Adv. Purnima Sharma today laid the foundation stone for the construction of Nallah at Mohalla Chougan Slathia in Ward No. 1.
The estimated amount allotted for the construction work of Nallah was 4.5 lacs. It was an old and long pending demand of the locals of Ward No. 01. The walls of the old nallah were damaged which led to frequent choking of the nallah.
Along with Deputy Mayor, Ashok Sharma (AEE), Ramesh Koul (J.E.), Shubh Lata Sharma, Anuradha Sharma, Sunita Wazir, Vandana Tehar, Sukh Devi, Kamala Devi, Veena Devi, Gopal Magotra, Gopal Sanmotra, Dhyan Singh, Ram, Raj Singh, Ram Tharoop (Baru) and other prominent citizens of Ward no. 01 were also present. |
