CF opposes scrapping of age relaxation in UPSC exams for J&K Youth | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 23: Citizen's forum request the It. Governor G C Murmu and Dr. Jitendra Singh The MOS to take up the issue of continuing in its original form and not scrapping of age relaxation of UPSC examinations with the central Government for J&K Youth. From 1st Jannuary 2020 the age relaxation clause to the domicile of the J&K to all India services examinations stands revoked. With increasing unemployment in J&K UT such incomprehensive decision will have lots of consequences and repercussions. R K Chadha president Citizen's Forum said every year UPSC conduct examinations across country for selection into IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS and other central services. The upper age limit for the said examinations is 32 years. However the age relaxation of 5 years to the domicile of J&K was given with regard to decade long disturbances and conflict in Jammu & Kashmir. The youth of J&K has been deprived of both tangible and intangible relaxation in UT and Central Jobs. Their careers are revolving around promises of 50000 jobs each for both the regions of J&K UT. We demand the future of the youth of this J&K UT be secured by the central government as promised at the time of abrogation of ART 370 by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. |
