JAMMU, Jan 29: Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Avni Lavasa today interacted with Save Animals Value Environment Society (SAVES) members.
The Commissioner gave a patient hearing to their concerns for animal welfare. It includes hiring a training agency for conducting animal birth control surgeries plus training Tteams of vets, para vets, and handlers from Animal Husbandry Department in capacity building for undertaking the specialized surgeries in all the district hospitals of UT of J&K.
They also requested for Allotment of Few Spaces within the Municipal Area to the Society for display of posters and Flex to create public Awareness regarding Animal Rights in India, compassion for all animals, freedom from unnecessary suffering, equality and dignity for Animals. |
