Jammu, Jan 29: The Mount Litera Zee School, Jammu and its junior wing KIDZEE celebrated “Vasant Panchami” in the school premises with great enthusiasm.
Chairman Er. Parneesh Mahajan, Liaison Officer Harvinder Singh Sihotra ,Principal Dr. Nitasha Bali, Coordinators Radhika Mahajan, Anuradha Sharma , staff and students were present during the function.
A special assembly was conducted and demonstration was given to all the students regarding “Vasant Panchami”.
All the students were dressed up in Yellow attire. Students presented beautiful poems on the festival. The programme started with saraswati pooja followed by saraswati vandana by the teachers of the school.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal, Dr Nitasha Bali threw light on why we celebrate “Vasant Panchami”. She emphasized that every festival is equally important and should be celebrated in every school so that our young generation should know about the cultural and importance of festival in our lives and also we welcome spring season.
