| Jammu doctors honoured in IMSCON | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 17: Jammu doctors were felicitated in 25th Annual conference of Indian Menopause Society IMSCON which was well attended by doctors all over country & from UK, USA & Australia at Bengaluru from 14th to 16th Feb 2020.
Dr Sudhaa Sharma noted Gynaecologist & Secretary General IMS (Elect) was given award of appreciation for providing free consultation to menopausal women once a month & also received roll of appreciation for converting Jammu chapter to Jammu Menopause Society as President. She was invited Faculty & moderated as an expert a panel discussion on Sarcopenia & concluded along with eminent panelists that it is a disease which can be treated with good nutrition & exercise.
Dr Annil Mahajan former Prof. & Head Medicine GMC Jammu was given award of Appreciation for running Journal of Mid Life (JMH -- Pub Med Indexed) successfully as Editor in Chief 2018-- 2020 & getting it internationally visible through many indexing agencies. He also presented report of JMH as Chairman of Journal Committee.
Dr Vishal Tandon, Professor Pharmacology GMC Jammu along with Dr Meeta took over as Editor in Chief from Dr Annil Mahajan & Dr Ranu Patni & promised to carry forward the good work of previous editors & maintain standard of JMH. Dr Neha Mahajan, lecturer Obs & Gynae GMC Jammu was awarded certificate of Credentialed Indian Menopause Practioner(CIMP) in the convocation as she qualified such exam. She has also been selected as Member Web Site committee IMS. |
