JAMMU, Feb 17: Jammu Police arrested three drug peddlers today recovered Cannabis Plant Material (Charas).
According to sources Police Party of Police Station Gandhi Nagar led by SHO during a Naka at Shamshan Ghat Chowk, Shastri Nagar signaled one vehicle (Tempo) bearing registration No.JK02BA-1833 for checking.
Driver of the vehicle and two side seated persons were identified as Sunny Mehra, Mohd Irfan and Raj Kumar. During a search, 650 Gms of Cannabis Plant Material (charas) like substance was recovered from their possession. In this connection, the case FIR No 50/2020 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at P/S Gandhi Nagar and investigation was taken up. |
