| SDTP School becomes overall champion | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 18: In the ongoing 11th District Speedball championship, which concluded today at Dogra Higher Secondary School, SD Tara Puri High School become overall champion.
The chief guest on the occasion was Chandan Mohan Gupta (Mayor Jmc) Special guest A.K Attri (Ret.DIG Jkp). Association members present on the occasion were Ravi Tikku (president) Anil Nanda (Event dir.) Rajiv Mahajan (member) Robil Sharma ( principal lpps nagrota) Pawan Kumar(member).
Mayor assured the organizers of full support from the government for upliftment of the game. Speed ball Association distributed free rackets to all the gold medallists.
In this championship 10 schools participated and more than 200 students were present. S.D Tara Puri High School won over all championship while 1st runner up team was BN Public School, while 2nd runner up team was Banyan International School. The event was organized by Sunny Nanda (General Secretary Jksba). |
