| LeT militant associate arrested in Sopore | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Feb 23: An associate of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was arrested in Sopore in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, a police official said on Sunday.
He further said that on a tip off police arrested one Muzamil Ahmad War, resident of Warpora Sopore.
''As per police records, he was involved in assisting the active militants of LeT operating in the areas of Sopore,'' he stated.
The official further stated that the accused was providing logistic support and shelter to the active militants in the areas.
''Incriminating materials have been recovered from his possession. Case under relevant sections of law stands registered against him,'' he revealed.
Further investigation was underway, the official added. |
