| Awareness programme on plastic waste management organized | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 23: Trikuta Nagar Welfare Association (TNWA) today organized an awareness programme on plastic waste management programme. Regional and Urban Development Agency (RUDA) and DISHA volunteers organised a door to door campaign today in ward No 54 of JMC in presence of Corporator of Neeraj Puri and President of TNWA Rajinder Kakkar.
The volunteers visited the households and sensitised them for source segregation of wet and dry wastes and also collected the dry wastes from the respective Households. Waste bin bags were also distributed among the residents and told them to collect all dry waste in it and which will be collected by the project staff on weekly basis. This initiative has been appreciated by all the residents and assured full support. |
