Jammu, Feb 24: Under special drive against traffic rule violators, begun today the Jammu Police on Monday challenged over one thousand violators’ challaned while around two hundreds vehicles have been seized.
On the first of day the week long drive, the Jammu Police laid special checking at various places of Jammu city and outer as well. “During the drive thousand plus traffic rule violators, have been challaned, while more than two hundreds vehicles found without documents have been seized. The drive will continue for week, and if need it will be extended further”, sources said, adding that besides, number of vehicles have been booked under various visible offences like driving without DL, use of mobile phone while driving, without crash helmet, triple riding, over speeding etc. in which innocent human lives are directly involved. |
