| Kishtwar police held bootlegger, 150 bottles of liquor seized | | |

KISHTWAR, Feb 24: In continuation to its drive against the vagabonds, Kishtwar Police has detained a bootlegger during the Naka checking.
Acting on a specific information police team led by Inspector Ajaz Wani, SHO Police Station Kishtwar under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police Kishtwar Sunny Gupta-laid a special naka at Bus Stand, Kishtwar.
During checking, police intercepted one person namely Asif Hussain son of Ghulam Qadir a resident of Sadeeq Abad Gudain Kishtwar carrying a box on his shoulder and during his checking, 150 bottles of JK Desi whiskey were recovered from the box in his possession.
In this regard Police has registered case FIR No 26/2020 under section 48 (a) Excise Act in Police Station Kishtwar. Further investigation into the case is in progress. |
