Munazeh Gazi, Rajesh Choudhary to participate to Wushu championship in Moscow | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Feb 26: Munazeh Gazi, Silver medalist in the 10th Junior Asian wushu championship at Brunie left for Moscows to participate in the Moscow Wushu championship at Moscow from 25th to 29th February 2020. The sports authority of India sanctioned the team at cost to government. Prior to participation, the Wushu Association of India organized 45 days Wushu coaching camp at Chandigarh. Munazeh Gazi from Srinagar has secured number of medals at national level and last year she made the country and state proud by winning Silver medal in the 10th Asian Wushu championship at Brunie. Rajesh Choudhary of Jammu and Kashmir working in CRPF is also the part of Indian Wushu team participating in the championship. Rajesh Chowdhary is 2 times national medalist. The president of the Wushu Association of J&K Vijay Saraf congratulated both the players and hoped they will earn name and fame for the country and UT J&K in the championship. He also thanked President of the Wushu Association of India Bhupender Singh Bajwa for giving the platform for the Jammu and Kashmir players. The CEO of Wushu Association of J&K Kuldeep Handoo congratulates both the players especially District Srinagar Wushu Association headed by Sadat Nasir Wani and Maqsood Rather for the outstanding performance and also the coaches Rameez and Irfan who worked hard to extract the best from the budding players. |
