Rishi Kilam demands review of Domicile Law, Amendment | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 1: The domicile law which is enhanced and applied by an order from ministry of home affairs is to some extent not satisfactory and does not fulfil the aspirations of the people of J&K which was expected. Er. Rishi Kaul Kilam National Joint Secretary and Spokesperson Youth wing of NCP said that in the best interests of the people of union territory of J&K the domicile law applied needs amendment and review. It is ironic that the Kashmiri Migrants who are permanent citizens of J&K union territory by birth since centuries together have been figured in this law, so sorrowful. Rishi kilam said earlier the centre government from time to time assured the people of J&K that the domicile law will come up with best expectations of the people but it has created doubts in our minds again when we feel our jobs are not secured when the outsiders have now been given open opportunities and invitations after completing 15 years . Er. Rishi Kilam added that the people of J&K compromised with the abrogation of article 370 and 35A as it had no relevance and meaning now because these acts were out of fashion and it was meaningful and required for our traditional leaders who used it for vote bank policy and Antinational activities to provoke the innocent Kashmiris. Infact these articles had only become the safe tools in the hands of our corrupt politicians for their safe guard thus fooling the innocent Kashmiris. |
