Jammu, Apr 6: J&K Aam Aadmi Party activists, Dr. A. C. Bhagat, Om Raj Bhall & Kuldeep Kumar Rao in a meeting at Jammu on 6th of April, 2020 have jointly appealed before the central government to completely rollback the controversial Domicile law imposed on people of Jammu and Kashmir as the 3 or 4 tier formula of 15, 10, 07 years and passing of 10th & 12th class examinations, adopted to design this law by the central government, is not at all accepted to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. They further explained that a special provision must be envisaged with regard to exclusive land rights and rights of local youth over all categories of jobs at the pattern of Himachal Pradesh and North East. Erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir (now UT) is already flooded with lakhs of people from other states like UP, Bihar, MP, Chhatisgarh, Uttranchal & even from states of Rajasthan, Punjab and Himachal working here on skilled and unskilled pattern and are living here in J&K since last more than 07 years, 10 years, 15 years and even some of them are living here since last more than 20 years, too.
