Hatemongers, terrorists two faces of same coin | | | Handful of hatemongers and sadists in Kashmir and erstwhile Doda district misusing social media for spreading hate and circulating fake information are acting as big impediments for restoration of high-speed internet in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the media reports security agencies have identified more than 1200 social media accounts which are demonizing the Indian State, security forces and others. The highspeed internet services which were suspended on August 5, 2019, when Centre announced its decision to abrogate J&K’s special status and bifurcated it into two union territories continue to remain suspended till date. The security agencies are reportedly not in favour of restoring the 4G internet as they apprehend this will provide a chance to Pakistan and terrorist handlers to provoke people. No one wants funerals of terrorists should be glorified or stone pelting to return. Due to these hate mongers within J&K and sitting across the Line of Control entire population of Jammu and Kashmir is suffering. The concerns expressed by the security agencies are genuine and when it comes to sovereignty of the nation no one can challenge the decision of the people at helm. The miscreants, who are involved in anti-national activities need to be identified and nailed. They (miscreants) believe that they are untraceable and no one will locate them but security agencies are tightening their noose around them. Recently Cyber Police in Kashmir arrested a miscreant who had used photoshop and posted a flag of Pakistan occupied Kashmir on his facebook page. It appeared that the flag has been hoisted at Lal Chowk’s clock tower in Srinagar. This picture on the FB made concerned security agencies rush to the spot but no flag was found there. Following this mischief police identified the miscreant and arrested him. He has been booked under different sections. The miscreants who are running the fake social media accounts to spread hate and are trying to create confusion amidst the outbreak of pandemic will also meet the same fate very soon. Right now, students across the country are being taught online on different platforms. In J&K also schools and colleges have started online classes but the slow internet speed is acting as a big impediment. But students of J&K have no choice and have to bear it. Miscreants who are responsible for creating this mess are deriving sadistic pleasure out of the sufferings of common people. These hate mongers should be booked under stringent laws so that it serves as deterrent for others. |
