JKSTEWS condoles demise of Sudershan Gupta, wife of Ex DC Excise Chanan Shah

Jammu, June 7: JK Excise State Taxes Employees Welfare Society (JKSTEWS) has condoled the demise of Sudershan Gupta, wife of former Deputy Commissioner Excise Chanan Shah Gupta. In view of prevailing lockdown conditions, the JKSTEWS members organized a telephonic meeting in which the members condoled the demise and expressed their sympathies with the bereaved family. The president of Society, Retired DC Excise Vijay Sharma said that Sudershan Gupta was a noble soul, who had done lot of social works. He prayed to almighty to give peace to the departed soul and solace to the bereaved family members as well. The members also said that Sudershan Gupta was a pious, noble and deeply religious soul, who had done Hindu religious pilgrimage of Char-Dham along with frequent visits to Haridwar and other religious places.
She had been helping the needy people as well as was donating monthly money to some needy children of the area. Apart from that, she had also planted many plants including Amla and Bhel in the public parks besides routinely planting flowers.
