Now Pakistan fires US-made weapons on Jammu civilians
6/12/2020 12:38:16 AM

Early Times Report

Jammu, June 11: In a bid to target Jammu province more lethally, Pakistan has started using US-made weapons on civilians along the Line of Control (LoC).
Official sources in the government establishment told Early Times that in a recent shelling in Mendhar sector, where around three villagers were killed and several houses were damaged, the Pakistan Army had fired US-made projectiles.
Officials said it’s for the first time in the last three decades of terrorism when such US made weapons have been used to target civilians on the Indian soil in Jammu.
Sources said Pakistan used US TOW-2A anti-tank guided missiles against Indian civilians.
What is even shocking about the incident is that these anti tank missiles were reportedly given to Pakistan for defence in case of war and also to support the NATO forces in the war-torn Afghanistan.
But what has happened in reality is that such deadly weapons have been used on innocent civilians in Jammu.
Sources said the Jammu and Kashmir government has informed New Delhi about such deadly attack on Jammu province and that there is every possibility that India will flag this issue of this US-made killer projectile at the highest level including the White House.
It was reliably learnt that the portion of shell as recovered from the Mendhar sector will be produced before the US authorities as an evidence of Pakistani aggression.
Source said there was every likelihood that the issue may even be raised that the United Nations as well. Pakistan has been repeatedly targeting civilians in Jammu province along the international border and the LOC.
In the garb of such aggression Pakistan not only wants to push terrorists into Indian territory but wants to harm the people of Jammu and their economy for having been proud Indian nationals, something which is largely unlikely of Kashmir where the enemy country managed to keep the pot of anti-national sentiment boiling through stooges.
