 EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 18: 8-day long Online Speed Ball Senior Super Solo Championship concluded here today. The competition was organized by J&K Sports Speed Ball Association.
In this championship, 15 players representing different schools participated. The schools that participated are Delhi Public School, Banyan International School, Jammu Sanskriti School, S D Tara Puri High School, Dogra Hr Sec School, Air Force School, B N Public School, British International School, New Era Mother High School, R M Public School, IDPS Akhnoor, BSK Hr Sec School Domana and Navdeep High School.
Deepak Digra, SP South Jammu was the chief guest during the valedictory function. SP South along with Ravi Tikku, President J&K Sports Speedball Association met with all the players and congratulated all the winners.
Tarun Uppal, renowned social activist and chairperson, Nirbhay Bharat Foundation, Anil Nanda, Event Director of JKSBA were also present as guests.
The winners of the event included Master Smohit Sharma, student of Jammu IDPS Anknoor stood 1st (V 58 shorts in 30 sec) Master Manish Karloopia, student of Jammu Sanskriti school stood 2nd (54 shorts in 30 sec) and Master Manthan Pandoh, student Dogra Hr Sec School stood 3rd (52 shorts in 30 sec) while Master Diwakar Sharma, student of BSK Hr Sec School, Domana Stood 4th (52 Shorts in 30 sec) . These students got selected for the next Inter-District Speed Ball Championship.
