Jammu, Mar 19: Advocate Ravinder Raina President All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference has condemned the treatment meted out by the concerned agencies to the Corona victim family, which tragically resulted in the death of two family members of the victim.
“It was all due to the insensitive apathy of the government agencies handling post demise SOP of corona patients”, President ASKPC said, adding that the incident follows other similar incidents where cremation was denied to Covid victims, half burnt bodies had to be removed or the bereaved families had to face stone pelting at hands of protesting people against cremation in the normal designated places.
The latest tragic incident should shake the conscious of the concerned officials and at least the dead bodies should be shown the due reverence and their family members should be treated humanely.
