| Horticulture Deptt organizes awareness camp | | |  Jammu, July 10: The department of Horticulture Khour unit today organized farmers awareness camp under the on-going Kisan Pakhwada.
Speaking on the occasion Block Development Council Chairperson Khour Baldev Raj urged the orchardists to take full benefit of credit facilities under various schemes by registering themselves under KCC.He also called for mass awareness of farmers welfare schemes with the aim of doubling the farmers income. Later, Horticulture development officer Khour Dr Amit Saraf also sensitized farmers about the various centrally sponsored schemes which are being implemented in horticulture sector and the credit available for the welfare of farming community.
The vote of thanks was delivered by horticulture technician Faju Ram.
