GGM Science College organises online inter college poster making competition

Jammu, July 10: Women’s Studies Centre of GGM Science college, Jammu organised an online inter college poster making competition on the occasion of world population day celebrated on the 11th of july on the theme “Population control: The road to a healthy society”. The competition was held under the patronage of the principal Dr Ravender Tickoo. This creative exercise provided a unique platform for the students to display their talent in the shape of design and content of the posters. Thirty five students from different colleges participated in the event. The first position was bagged by Joosmeena Tabassum from GDC Kokernag and Bhavesh Singh of School of Sciences, Cluster University.The second prize was bagged by Leepika Sharma from MAM College, Jammu. Whereas the third prize was shared by Sakshi Kumari, GDC, R.S. Pura, Sanjeevani Arun Borade from SNDT Mumbai and Anjali Nanda, GCW, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu. Dr Vandana Khajuria was the convener and Dr Babita Mahajan the organising secretary of the event. The event was adjudged by Dr. Seema Arora, Associate Professor, GCW, Gandhi Nagar and Dr. Anjali Abrol, Associate Professor,GCW, Parade
