| Bootlegger nabbed with 13 bottles of illicit liquor | | |

Samba, July 10: Continuing its drive against the menace of illicit trade of drugs and liquor, District Police Samba arrested a bootlegger in the jurisdiction of PS Ramgarh and recovered a total 13 bottles of JK special Wishky from his possession.
Acting on reliable information regarding the sale of illicit liquor at Ramgarh town and in its adjoining areas, a Police Party of PS Ramgarh rushed to the spot and arrested one person namely Nishan Singh S/o Daleep Singh R/O Bandral, Ramgarh from Bandral who was selling illicit liquor to the general public at exorbitant rates to gain illegitimate profit. A total 13 bottles of JK special Whisky (180 ml each) were recovered from the possession of said accused person. In this connection, the said person was booked under section 110 Cr.PC at P/S Ramgarh. |
