GDC Vijaypur organizes national level quiz competition

JAMMU, Aug 5: A national level Online Quiz Competition on General Knowledge and Current Affairs was organized by Government Degree College (GDC) Vijaypur to test the knowledge of students in a way that was not only enriching but also technologically advanced. The students were benefitted by this unique methodology of conducting the quiz that helped them gain a new perspective of how knowledge can be incorporated on a digital platform as knowledge is of no value unless we put it into practice and in this context quiz solves the purpose of a brief assessment to gauge the skills, abilities and knowledge of the students. The questions were related to current affairs, politics, sports, music, inventions and many more related topics. Many students from different Colleges and Universities from across the country participated in the quiz competition enthusiastically. The first position was secured by Scienthia Karlupia of APS, BD Bari, Samba. The second position was shared by Wani Firdose Wani of GDC Baramulla and Sajad Ahmad Mir of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University while the third position was secured by Hilal Ahmad Mir of GDC Poonch. Consolations were awarded to Bajees Firdous of GCW, MA Road, Srinagar, Arjumand of GDC Pampore, Kaleem Mohd Pathan of SSM College of Engineering and Technology, Baramulla and Jahara Bashir of GCW, MA Road, Srinagar.
