| TMF demands to refund instalment of premium paid in HIS | | |

Jammu, Aug 14: Team Mask Force (TMF) has demanded from the government to refund the instalment of premium paid in Health Insurance scheme by the government of earstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Vijay Sharma Rtd. DC state Taxes Chairman of Force said that the government had floated health insurance scheme for the benefit of employees/pensioners of JK and even directed to pay 1st instalment of more than 4200 in to JK Bank a/c of Employees/Pensioners which most of them deposited even Government alleged to had paid amount of Premium to Reliance Insurance co.to the tune of nearly more than 60 lakhs.
“It was at later stage proved to be embezzled by the authorities in conivance with Insurance co resulting the then Governor Satya Pal Malik ordering the same to be shelved forthwith and borrowing the instalment of premium of Insurance scheme by the Employees/pensioners and depriving them of their legitimate benefits of the scheme at the same time due to its hustle/bustle”, Sharma said, and appealed the government to order refund of their hard earned retirement benefits paid to the account of Government through JK Bank. |
