JAMMU, Aug16: Lavish Social & Education Trust (LSET ) Jammu celebrated 74th Independence day with great fervor and gaitey here today. On the occasion several social activists were present. The tricolour was unfurled by Vinod Pandita chairman LSET followed by National anthem by the participants.
While greeting the people Mr. Pandita explained in detail the importance of the day and paid rich tributes to the martyrs who laid down their lives for cause of motherland and attained freedom for us from British rule.
LSET co ordinator Vishal Jotshi explained in detail the importance of the day and greeted the people on this auspicious occasion. Dry Ration and other eatables were distributed among poor and needy families at their door steps also. Those who were present include M.K. Koul, Vinod Bhat, Karuna Jotshi, Vivek Jotshi and others. |
