| Coronavirus recovered patient can again get infected: TMF | | |

JAMMU, Aug 26: Although the Covid-19 pandemic is still expanding but the rise in cases and deaths has slowed globally, except for southeast Asia and the eastern Mediterranean region, the WHO said through a media report. Highlighting the report, Team Mask Force (TMF) chairman Vijay Sharma in a press release said astonishingly the report’s findings said that two European patients found again getting infected with coronavirus of different strains has been more worrisome for the researchers. This has fuelled fears about the effectiveness of potential vaccines against the virus, which has killed hundreds of thousands of people, though experts say there would need to be many more cases of reinfection for these to be justified. Belgian virologist Marc Van Ranst said the Belgian case was a woman who had contracted Covid-19 for the first time in March and then again in June. Sharma said that PM Modi 's tall claims that India has been able to contain the virus has since been belied and proved to be rhetorical alone, adding that country cannot befooled in matter of lives and deaths of masses. The infected cases of country's Home Minister Amit Shah, CMs of various states have revealed the seriousness of the governments with which it has dealt the pandemic notwithstanding the political angle with which the whole scenario has been weighed upon at the risk and cost of lives of countrymen, he added. |
