| ASI Harbans Lal accorded warm send off on superannuation | | |  Early times Report
Jammu, Sept 1: On attaining the age of superannuation ASI Harbans Lal of SPS PTS Kathua was accorded a warm send off by the officers and staff of SPS PTS Kathua in a simple function.
The farewell party was held in appreciation to his services rendered to the institution (22 years).
The officer attained the superannuation after rendering more than 37 years service in the police department.
The farewell party was followed by the pipping ceremony to decorate the newly promoted officials namely HC Darbari Lal and HC Arun Kumar to the rank of ASI. The newly promoted officers were decorated by Arun Gupta-SSP (JKPS) Principal SPS PTS Kathua and G.Os of the institution in presence of limited gathering. While speaking on the occasion the Principal complemented the retiree for maintaining unblemished record and wished him a healthy and meaningful post retirement life.
He also extended his congratulatory remarks to the newly promoted officers and their families and exhorted them to work with more diligence, zeal and enthusiasm. Inspr. Sanjeev Kumar, RI covered the proceedings during the farewell party/pipping ceremony.
All gathering followed mandatory directives during the event.
