Early Times Report

Samba, Sept 6: A woman on Sunday gave birth to a child on the road outside a government hospital here after the doctors refused to admit her to the hospital, as she has not Corona test report. Due to the negligence of District Samba Hospital, a laborer woman gave birth to a baby girl on the side of the road. “Lilam Devi wife of Darvinder Kumar, resident of Bihar, currently works as a laborer, this morning she was taken to Samba hospital by her family following labour-pain. But the doctors on duty refuse to admit the lady, as the family had not Corona test report with them”, the family informed, adding that disowning their mandate the doctors left mother and unborn child on the mercy god. “God is great, and he saved both mother and her child, when the helpless woman gave birth to her child on the road. The woman with her newly born child remained unattended on road for an hour, later when the issue caught public attention, an ambulance came from the hospital took both to the hospital. Dr. Anil, while giving his clarification, said that the family left hospital on their own, nobody asked them to leave the hospital. However, denying Doctors’ claims, Darvinder Kumar, husband of the lady said that in the hospital, no one was listening to him. “To save the life of my wife and our unborn baby, I took them away for other options for her safe delivery, but she delivered the baby on the road, it is very shameful for the entire J&K”,he added.
