| WDC Udhampur stages protest against Domicile Certificate process | | |

Udhampur, Sept 11: Women’s Congress District President and Councilor Preeti Khajuria staged protest along with the other women in Subhash Nagar area of Udhampur, against process of making domicile certificate.
Priti Khajuria and others expressed their anger by raising slogans against the government, on this occasion. She said that on the one hand the government is talking about giving back the status of state to Jammu and Kashmir and on the other side of Jammu and Kashmir People have been put in the circle of domicile so that people can waste both their time and money . if people have live in Jammu and Kashmir for years , they have already permanent residency certificate (PRC ) and then why do they need to make domicile? , she said
Preeti believes that even after the identification of her own house, why we are going to have to get a new identity card as domicile . It to be made by those who are not from J&k UT and not for those who live in J&k . This dual role policy playing by govt will not work for people should do the same work which is in their interest and not that which bothers and increases. In this covid 19 situation , when people are surrounded by many problems, then the government has put the people in Protest demonstration by newly appointed Women's District Congress President Preeti Khajuria. |
