DDC Doda inspects Covid control measures in Bhaderwah containment zones
Asks to ensure 100% testing of vulnerable people in first phase

DODA, Sept 13: District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today inspected the Covid control measures and took the first hand appraisal about the implementation of necessary SOPs in the newly notified containment zones in Bhaderwah.
The DDC inspected the entry points and asked to plug the possible exits that could be used by the people living in the containment zone to sneak out.
He directed the Police officials to seal all the possible entries and restrict the movement. However, he has directed for smooth supply of essentials.
Regarding conduct of testing in the containment zones, the DDC directed to intensify the testing, specifically for people above 60 years with co- morbidities, pregnant women, etc in the first spell.
The DDC urged the people to extend full cooperation to the District administration and asked the people to voluntarily come forward and get them tested if suffering from flu like symptoms without any fail.
Moreover, the DC appealed to the people living in the containment zone to restrict their movement, not to have any kind of physical contact with anyone outside the containment zone. He also urged the outsiders not to enter into the containment zone areas.
The DDC cautioned that any violation in this regard shall be seriously dealt and the violator would face strict legal action under rules. Others accompanying the DDC during the visit were ADC, ASP, BMO, District Epidemiologist and other civil and police functionaries.
