DDC reviews developmental scenario of Pogal- Paristan, listens to people’s issues at Ukhral

RAMBAN, Sept 24: District Development Commissioner, Nazim Zai Khan presided over the Jan- Abhiyan outreach programme at Block headquarter Ukhral of Tehsil Pogal-Paristan on the occasion of Block Diwas. He listened to grievances and problems of the people and redressed many of them on the spot.
The programme witnessed active participation of public where PRIs and general masses of various surrounding panchayats including Hochak, Pogal, Ramsoo, Bhoardar, Parihander, Neel, Pingloga, Bingara and Chamalwas highlighted their problems and developmental issues of different nature.
BDC, Chairman, Karleep Singh, SSP Ramban, Hasseb-Ur-Rehman, SDM, Ramsoo, Dilmir Choudhary, ACD, Zameer Ahmed Rishu, CMO, Dr. Mohammad Fareed , XENs PWD, DSWO, DHO, LDM, ALC, AD, Employment, DFOs, BDOs, and several other district and sectoral officer attended the Block Diwas programme.
The DDC also distributed the RBA, Domicile certificates and KCC cards among the beneficiaries. He also handed over sports kits to local youth to promote sports activities in rural areas.
Responding to security issues of PRIs, SSP Ramban assures adequate security cover to all PRIs and BDC chairpersons where they are needed. He also lauded the people of Pogal Paristan area for maintaining peace and brotherhood even in very odd situations.
In his address, the BDC Chairperson listed the effort made by the district administration to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections in the very initial stage. He highlighted the various developmental issues of block Ukhral relating to Power, PHE, RDD, PMGSY, Health and Education besides seeking early redressal of the same.
