Raman Suri condemns killing of BDC Chairman
9/25/2020 11:16:45 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Sept 25: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member, Raman Suri, while condemning what he called as barbaric killing of BDC Chairman from Khag Budgam, Bhupinder Singh, said that this is sheer frustration on the part of those inimical to peace. He said, earlier also BJP leaders were gunned down but those killings never deterred the system from functioning more vigorously and implementing people-oriented policies in the larger interest of peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
Expressing his deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and praying for eternal peace to the departed soul, Raman Suri said, this heinous act is an attempt to spread fear and vitiate the atmosphere of peace and progress in Kashmir but much water has flown down the river and nothing is going to be reversed now. People are looking towards a progressive Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir wherein youth are going to play major roles. Raman Suri said that there can not be any justification for such attacks. The society does not have any space for perpetrators of violence and those involved in this cowardly act shall be brought to justice. He asked youth to read the writing on the wall and realise that Jammu and Kashmir UT has already started witnessing massive progress, development, economic prosperity and everyone will not only be contributing to it but also take their share of success in days to come.
