Jammu, Oct 5: A plantation drive was organized in Udhampur, in which NSS volunteers participated.
In the initiative two schools and three temples of Garnai village were adopted including Government Girls Middle school lower Garnai, Shivalik public school and three religious places of Garnai ward no 4 Zone Tikri in these drives. He was also accompanied by local Panch of that area Dalip Anthal Also he was accompanied by the youth and senior citizens of that area. During the drive they cleaned the bushes of these schools and religious places of that area and approx 80-100 saplings were planted inside the school premises , religious places and in the adjoining areas of ward no 4, Garnai Panchayat.
The other volunteers who participated were Aditya Singh, Rishub Singh,Vishal Jamwal, Lovesh Bandhral ,Murad Ali and many more .
