| 2 J&K BN NCC holds Annual Training Camp | | |

Jammu, Oct 19: 2 J&K Bn NCC is conducting ATC J-1 (Annual Training Camp) NCC Training Camp at Nagrota from 18 Oct to 24 Oct 2020 under the aegis of GP HQ Jammu. Approximately 200 Boys (SD/JD) NCC cadets from different schools and colleges including Personal Instructor Staff & civil staff are participating in the camp. The camp started with arrival of cadets and conduct of Covid test for all.
The basic aim of this camp is to train the cadets in military leadership which includes physical exercise, obstacle course, weapon training, Map reading and firing. Camp Commandant Col J S Kataria inaugurated the camp by welcoming all the cadets and instructional staff. He is further laid emphasis on safety of cadets and instructed staff to make cadets aware of social distance and wearing of mask in view of ongoing covid pandemic and imparts comprehensive training in health & hygiene and other social service activities. Commandant addressed the cadets and stressed on discipline/ creative thinking, and participation in social service and community development activities. He also interacted with cadets and Training staff and sought feedback regarding the conduct of training and other camp administrative aspects. |
