New land laws unacceptable: GM Shaheen | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Oct, 27: Janata Dal United has castigated Government of India to implement land laws in Jammu and Kashmir in absence of any elected government. GM Shaheen, the JDU president for Jammu and Kashmir said that such laws are not in the interest of people of Jammu and Kashmir as these will further widen the gap between New Delhi and people of Jammu and Kashmir. "It is unfair to take these important decisions with taking people into confidence. It will have far reaching effects," Shaheen told news agency KNT. He said JDU doesn't subscribe and is not a party to such decisions taken by Government of India. "The new land laws are anti people aimed at to snatch whatever is left with the common masses."
