GCPF-J highlights issues, hails retirement rules | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 27: General Category People’s Forum Jammu (GCPF-J) headed by Raj Kumar Banathia, Chairman of the Forum, Prof. Yash Paul Sanson, President highlighted the agenda of the Forum and laid emphasis on the unity of the poor, neglected and marginalized people to save themselves from the divisive communal exploitation by the political outfits for their political gains. He said that Forum has been constantly contributing to making India better and civilized discrimination-free nation and to ensuring “Equal Rights and Equal Laws for all citizens” Forum raised its voice against social evils and demanded welfare schemes to ameliorate the socio-economic status of economically backward families of all castes and religions. Sanson said that Forum condemned abuse and misuse of constitutional guarantees which had given birth of inequality, injustice and discrimination. He said that the employees appointed ignoring merit and talent often become annoyed with their senior officers and do not work on time and believe in working by taking bribe. He termed the retiring of government servants after the age of 48 or 22 years of services, a right step in the interest of the people who pay heavy taxes for better amenities and services of efficient government servant. He stressed upon the Govt. not to compromise efficiency and talent, in the appointments. |
