11/3/2020 12:08:16 AM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 2: J&K BJP celebrated the Ladakh win in a rather smile but gracious manner, when they distributed sweets and congratulated each other upon the return of BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul to Jammu at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Former BJP State President Sat Sharma, General Secretary & former MLC Adv. Vibodh Gupta, General Secretary & former Minister Dr. Devinder Manyal, Mayor JMC Chander Mohan Gupta, former Minister Sham Choudhary, Dy. Mayor Adv. Purnima Sharma and other party leaders also spoke on the occasion.
BJP senior leaders Sofi Yusuf, Aseem Gupta, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Rajiv Charak, Pramod Kapahi, Arvind Gupta, Rekha Mahajan, Munish Sharma, Balbir Ram Rattan, Sanjay Baru, Sanjita Dogra, Prabhat Jamwal, Tilak Raj Gupta, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Sanjay Khanna, Prem Gupta, Naresh Singh Jasrotia, Kulbhushan Mohtra, Shailender Vaid were also present on the occasion.
During the celebrations, it was stressed that all the election process for LAHDC were conducted successfully under the dedicated guidance of senior National leadership of party like Kiren Rijiju, G. Krishna Reddy, Arun Singh, Tarun Chugh, Anurag Thakur, Mukhtar Abbas Naqwi including Ashok Kaul who devoted his maximum time during the whole process.
Ashok Kaul gave a brief introduction that how the party contested elections in 2010 and also won 17 seats in 2015. He said that in 2020, well before the elections, Congress party in its vicious campaign boycotted the elections in which it maliciously involved several local religious organizations as well.
In a closely knitted area like Ladakh the malicious campaign spread like wildfire but when the things were made clear, all the people justly participated in the elections.
Kaul emphasized that after the early confusion created by Congress party, things fast returned to the BJP’s side in due time. BJP won the maximum seats but still lost few seats by a very little margin, which is a great achievement for the party, he said and added that now BJP has 16 elected representatives in LAHDC.
BJP has now ensured seats from the areas dominated by every community including the remote region like Nobra. Congress did try to play spoilsport by using divide and rule policy but despite all odds, BJP did brilliant in the elections, and in the end, BJP won the CEC as well as the Deputy in the elections.
Kaul said that previously, BJP activists from the Jammu and Kashmir regions extensively rendered their useful services, but now the Ladakh unit is extensively strengthened on its own and this has been proved in these elections. Now, along with other local party leadership, young MP from Ladakh also did wonderful job despite he recently suffered from Covid 19 infection. He said that with the dedication of the senior leadership soon all the issues in the region both regional and the international will be resolved and the Ladakh region will march on the lines of unprecedented development.
Kaul further said that BJP has won the very first elections after Covid 19 Lockdown and added that BJP will also do extremely well in other parts of the Nation like Bihar and Bengal on the similar lines.
