DODA, Nov 23: Chenab Valley is known as hub of Hydroelectric Power Projects but the people of Chenab region always face electricity shortage. The electricity supply is generally scheduled for two-two hours in most parts of Doda, Kishtw?r and Ramban districts but the unusual power cuts mostly during winters increase the people's suffering. Aadil Qayoom, a student of class 12th said, "We are getting problem during exams due to power cuts, as these power cuts are unusual. We don't get electricity on time as per schedule time." Meanwhile, the students of 10th and 12th class preparing for annual exams, are the worst sufferers due to unusual power cuts. The supply lines are so much defunct at most of the rural places as soon as clouds arrived, the electricity shuts before the rain drops. Manish Kumar, a student from Bari Marmat said, "The schedule of Electricity is for two-two hours but it remains shutdown mostly and we are waiting for electricity from three days."
