SI Sumit Mangotra of CBJ shines in debate competition | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 25: Sub-Inspector Sumit Mangotra of Crime Branch Jammu secured second position in a debate Competition on Human Rights awareness organized by J&K Police Telecom. Jammu, at Conference Hall Armed Police Headquarters J&K on 22-11-2020. He was rewarded second prize of Rs 2500. The topic for the debate was "The Evolving role of Police in the wake of Covid-19 Pandemic and Lockdown implementation". The officer represented Crime Branch Jammu in the Competition in which different participants from various Units and wings of J&K Police, across the UT of J&K were deputed to take part in the competition. The officer was extremely eloquent and extempore in his speech on the topic and he threw light on both pros and cons of the Lockdown amid the Pandemic vis-à-vis the effective role of Police in its implementation. The debate was held under the Chairmanship of Davinder Pal Singh, Director Police Telecommunication J&K along with other team members. Insp Raj Kumar of CID Jammu and Constable Sayida Akhter of Security Jammu secured first and third positions respectively. |
