BBIA lauds financial relief to industrial sector | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 25: Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) has lauded the financial relief given to industrial sector by the Lieutenant Governor led administration. According to press release, a meeting of Advisory/Executive Committee of Bari Brahmana Industries Association, Regd. (BBIA) was held under the Presidentship of Lalit Mahajan Chairman, Federation of Industries, Jammu & President BBIA in the presence of Tarun Singla, Sr. Vice President, Ajay Langer Vice President, Viraaj Malhotra General Secretary, Rajesh Jain Secretary and Vivek Singhal Treasurer BBIA and other members. Members present in the meeting hailed the financial relief granted by UT Administration which includes the adjustment of 50% fixed charges of electricity bills issued for the month of October 2020 by the Jammu Power Distribution Corporation & 5% Interest Subvention Scheme benefit out of which 1st Installment already released in favour of the Industrial Units by Banks. Members appreciated the working of the Industries and Commerce Department for finalization of Industrial policy 2020 which is under the active consideration of Govt. of India and we are hopeful for the rapid Industrialization of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. Further, the issue regarding the problem being faced by some of our Members Units due to Sealing of their Units by the SDPO Bari Brahmana, District Samba for which the Unit Holders approached the Court for the De-Sealing of their Units but in spite of Court directions to De-Seal the Unit of our Member Unit M/s Crystal Crop Protection Ltd, the learned SDPO not yet taken any step to De-Seal the Unit. Member present in the meeting requested the President to take up the matter with Mukesh Singh (IPS), Inspector General of Police, J&K Police, Jammu for De-Sealing the Unit as the Unit engaged in the manufacturing the Essential Goods as defined in the SPO issued by the competent Authorities during COVID-19 & having all the requisite clearances from the related Departments.
