DODA, Nov 27: The polling parties for Phase-I of Elections to District Development Council and Panchayat by-Polls were today dispatched to respective polling stations here.
The polling for the phase-I is being held on November 28 for Bhalesa and Changa DDC constituencies and vacant seats of Panchayats.
A total 110 polling parties, including reserve staff, under the supervision of District Pancahayat Election Officer (DPEO), Dr Sagar D Doifode, were dispatched to their respective polling stations along with Ballot Boxes. The district election authority had made adequate logistic and security arrangements for polling parties.
The district election authority has provided Sanitizers, Masks, Thermal Scanners, Gloves, PPE kits and other important things related to Covid-19 safety to the Polling parties.
The DPEO has urged the voters to observe Covid-19 protocols during elections.
Election Observer G J Singh; SSP Mumtaz Ahmed; SP Operations, ASP, ACD, Dy DEO,DIO, besides Nodal Officers and other concerned officers were present on the occasion. |
