Business School Bhaderwah Campus organizes one day International Webinar

Bhaderwah, Dec 3 :The Business School Bhaderwah Campus University of Jammu in collaboration with Securities and Exchange Board of India organized one day International webinar on the title “Career Options and Investment Opportunities in Share Market” on the eve of International Investor Week. 320 participants got registered for the webinar out of which 180 participated. The participants were from various states of India and abroad. The foreign delegates are from Uzbeskistan, Pakistan, Jamaica, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Egypt, Westmoreland, United States, Malaysia, Europe, Canada etc. The webinar started with the welcome address by Dr. Umesh Choudhary, who was also the convener of the webinar.
Dr. Choudhary introduced the theme of the Webinar to the participants. He discussed the parameters for success index of a country, problems faced by educational institutes, corporate houses and government during Covid pandemic, role of educational institutes in awaring and preparing the masses to find out alternate mode of generating their livelihood and finances while staying at home and factors should be considered while deciding about career options.
Professor Manoj Dhar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu was the Chief Patron of the webinar. Prof. Rahul Gupta, Rector Bhaderwah Campus who was also the Patron of the Webinar delivered the presidential address. He insisted on the need of such valuable events in the present scenario. He appreciated the efforts made by both Dr. Umesh Choudhary, the Convener of the webinar and Securities and Exchange Board of India for organising this webinar.
Mr. M.A Shinod, Deputy General Manager, Northern Regional Office, Delhi, who was the keynote speaker for the webinar, shared his knowledge and expertise on working of SEBI.
The presentations were followed by threadbare discussion and questions on the topics covered in the webinar. During Question answer session very interesting questions were asked by various participants related to various aspects of investments.
Webinar ended with vote of thanks by Dr. Kuljit Singh Academic Coordinator and Co- convener of the Webinar to all the delegates. He expressed his special thanks to Dr. Sunil Bhardwaj, Dr. Rohit Bhagat, Mr. Mohammed Avais and Dr. Subhash Chander for providing unflinching support for the successful conduct of this webinar. Special thank was extended to Sabzaar Ahmad Wagay Resource person from SEBI for his unconditional support that resulted in successful conduct of the webinar. The Webinar was compared and coordinated by Dr. Kuljit Singh Co-Convenor of the Webinar.
