GDC Vijaypur organises online workshop on 'Meditation'
12/6/2020 10:27:18 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 6: Meditation can give a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit both our emotional well-being and overall health. To be more specific it can help to effectively deal with stress, anxiety, fear, conflict in relationships and improve our sense of judgment. Moreover, it can help us to carry on more calmly through the day and help improve the quality of our life. It has now become the need of the hour and is a must for all age groups. Sensing this need, GDC Vijaypur collaborated with Youth Wing, RE and RF, Jagadamba Bhawan, Pune and BK Rupesh, a renowned Rajyoga Teacher, and conducted an online Youth Workshop- designed exclusively for youth (16-40 years) in which BK Rupesh with numerous years of experience guided the youth on how to develop the power of Meditation so that it becomes a way of our lives as the key to meditating is to do nothing. The silence and stillness one experiences in meditation and the increased happiness and diminished stress one experiences outside meditation are so attractive and welcomed that one naturally teaches oneself to go deeper into that silence and stillness each time one meditates. Students and research scholars of different Colleges and Universities across the country participated with great enthusiasm, zeal and fervor. Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, Principal of the College thanked the organizers and participants for making the workshop a grand success and exhorted that one must avoid looking for experiences or signs of progress or failure with one's meditation because that hinders meditation.
