Social activist Rabia Khajuria, NGO Umeed help poor family

Jammu, Dec 10: Pawan Kumar of village Dagah in Akhnoor, who was suffering from a fatal disease cancer and due to lack of treatment because of their poor financial condition died a few days back. Pawan left a large family behind him which was struggling to survive because of poverty.
Social Activist of Akhnoor Rabia Khajuria along with some social activists and NGO Umeed came forward for the family of the deceased. On this occasion, the NGO Umeed provided a month's ration to the poor family. They further provided grains, clothes, flour, vegetables, oil spices and cash to the poor family. The President of the NGO, Anav Langar, said that everyone lives for self but it is good to do something for others. It is also considered to be a work of virtue for the poor and helpless.
Rabia Khajuria, Social Activist in her address said that the family was in dire need as the only earning source left heaven due to cancer. She said that her team along with Umeed NGO has taken an initiative and have provided some assistance to the poor family.
She further appealed to the society to come forward for the help of the needy family and for the education of the children of Pawan Kumar. She said they will continue their efforts to help the poor and needy people.
