JAMMU, Dec 19: In a statement Gurmeet Singh Aam Aadmi Party Leader Jammu JK (UT) & Social Activist said that the resolution adopted by the Kejriwal government against the contentious agriculture laws in the Assembly had planted a severe blow to the Modi government at the right point in time. He said that Arvind Kejriwal had sent out a strong message to the dictatorial Modi government by tearing copies of the controversial laws.
He said that the Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government has convened a one-day special session of the Delhi Assembly to repeal the three Central agriculture laws, also said that Arvind Kejriwal had sent out a strong message to the dictatorial Modi government by tearing copies of the controversial laws. He said that by tearing of copies of black laws, Kejriwal had given a clear message to the Modi government that the Aam Aadmi Party will never be cowed down under any pressure of those who were hell-bent on ruining farmers in the state. Singh said that the Aam Aadmi Party had been raising its pitch against the black laws from day one on the streets and in the Parliament, fighting for the rights of the farmers.
He said that Arvind Kejriwal was the first Chief Minister of the country who had challenged the Modi government on the agricultural laws at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, standing rock solid in support of the farmers, adding that he (Arvind Kejriwal) was also the only Chief Minister of the country who stood by the farmers and served them during their ongoing stir, sending out a clear and categorical message to the Modi government.
